The State of Washington has 10 to 15 Expanding
Your Horizons (EYH) Conferences each year. These events
are designed to nurture girls' interest in science and math courses
and to encourage them to consider science and math based career
options such as engineering, computer science and physical science.
The first EYH Conference was sponsored by the Math/Science Network
at Mills College in 1976. Since inception, EYH has benefited thousands
of girls and young women in more than 22 states across the nation.
